Temp-to-Hire Financial Controller - Windsor, CT

• Operate independently in a small, high-visibility environment with strong construction-accounting discipline.
• Oversee all daily accounting functions: A/R, A/P, job costing, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Maintain clean, accurate, audit-ready books and provide ownership with clear financial insights.
• Require hands-on experience with GAAP, accrual accounting, WIP reporting, QuickBooks Desktop, and establishing clean opening books.
• Seeking 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in construction.
• Must communicate clearly, work with precision, and thrive without layers of oversight.
